KrillPay was founded out of frustration by immigrant founders who faced challenges in sending money home. Their relatives in Africa faced high fees and slow transfers due to a lack of access to banks.
Determined to find a better solution, they launched KrillPay in 2022—a platform tailored for migrant communities, ensuring immigration status doesn't limit access to financial services. Now serving thousands in the U.S., KrillPay helps users send money, build credit, access virtual cards, and save. We plan to initiate a purpose-driven transaction, dedicating a portion of our revenue to education initiatives in underserved communities.
KrillPay aims to tackle financial inclusion by connecting the unbanked with migrant relatives via a mobile payment app. When a migrant sends money, the recipient instantly receives it in local currency through a digital wallet, delivering last-mile financial services to remote areas.
We are more than just a fintech company; we are a movement for financial inclusion and global equity.
